Has anyone been up in the mountains by hateno? I spent a good 30 min trying to find stuff for heavy cold resistance, made some spicy elixer, and started my way up to the highest point. I found a massive beast of some sort up there but i couldn't fight it, and it's not that i didnt try. It just sat there while i shot arrows at it. I tried to google it describing what it looked like and i cant find anything about it online yet.
I'm not that far, just reached Kakariko Village, but the main thing I'm struggling with is figuring out what, if anything, to sell. Like, I don't have much use for Opals right now and they sell for what seems like a decent amount, but I don't want to sell them only to need them for some reason later.
Ok update on my last posts. I didnt step in the right place to trigger a cutscene. I just fought the dragon Naydra
Whenever I need to drop a weapon I just throw it instead of going into the menu. Just a quicker workaround I found, since that's what I've needed to drop most often.
I just sell all of those sorts of things. I haven't found a use for them yet and they're super common.
Finally took the time to build a bond and get a horse trained. Had to feed that bastard all of my apples to get him to like me. I like that you can get them on a trail, and they'll just follow the path without any guidance
I've been playing non stop since the game has come out and I still haven't attempted my first dungeon
Played for about an hour and a half yesterday. My first real chance to play but I mainly explored and haven't made any progress really
Finally beat my first dungeon. @SpyKi since I know you beat this one, how does Mipha's Grace work? I see it's a key item, is it one time use or does it happen once every time I die?
I love them so far. They are slightly smaller than a normal Zelda dungeon but I feel like they're better designed than most. There's also the task of getting to each one which has been pretty great too, especially for the first. The shrines are also getting more complex and unique as I go on.
Damn Wolf Link just destroys the average enemies. It's impossible to catch any bugs with him though, he scares everything away.
I've been wandering in all kinds of places that I'm sure I shouldn't be at yet. Just did the "Modest Test of Strength" trial and holy shit I don't think I was supposed to go there at this time but I still beat it
