Do you notice any performance issues on the Wii U version? The Switch is sold out in my area and I want to spend my weekend with this.
You can also earn extra rupees by destroying crates. For steel crates just magnesis them upwards then thank gravity.
Just look for odd things in the environment. A lone rock on top of a hill, a flower that doesn't look like it can be collected, a well that looks like something can be placed in. They're all over the place.
Also I've had no problems at all performance wise with the Wii U version. It runs extremely smooth 90% of the time, the frame rate only dips slightly if there's a ton of enemies or you're in like an extremely grassy/forresty area, and I think the switch pretty much has the same issue. My only complaint is that because it's a switch game they don't make use of the second screen at all. Inventory management and a map down there would be EXTEREMELY useful. It especially sucks because I'm pretty sure it had those features at e3, which means they must have taken them out so nobody could say the switch was the inferior version.
If there's a rock in a random place, pick it up. If there's any little statues place an apple in front of them. If there's a ring of stones/leaves in the water, dive in or try throwing a rock in. They're usually just little puzzles in the wild. Anything that looks fishy will probably be one. I've got close to 30 so far. Also just finished my first dungeon and it was probably one of my favorites of the whole series. Very fun. Great boss too.
Think there's more pop in on Wii U from what I've heard, I've definitely noticed some of that but it hasn't bothered me. Other than that I think they're identical.
I was thinking i would do the elephant or bird first. has anyone found any memories yet? do they only pop in a specific area or after you speak to someone? v curious to see how those work.
I'm very excited for the rest after that. I have a few memories. I don't want to say how you get them in case people don't want to know but there is a certain way you can pick them up around the world as well as certain ones you'll just get through the story.
Only got to play about 45 minutes before I went out to do some errands (so I can then lock myself away the rest of the weekend), but I am absolutely in love so far. What a joy this game is, incredible first impression.
Fun fact I was climbing a mountain in a thunderstorm and since I had a sword on my back it conducted electricity and I got struck by lightning and fell about 500 ft to my death!
Not having any major issues on WiiU. The only time I noticed any frame rate drop was when I had magnesius on and I spun the camera around in circles for several rotations. I heard the day one update fixed some performance issues.
Just finished the plateau, magnificent so far. Does the game do a good job of guiding you along the main quest if that's what you want to do?
Shrines are fun as hell, I love a good Zelda puzzle and it feels totally fresh because the abilities I've gotten before are unlike anything in a Zelda game before.
so far, yes. there seems to always be a waypoint for the main questline. exploring is absolutely worth it though. you'll need dem korok seeds and spirit orbs
The little bite size puzzles are so nice. The difficulty of the puzzles is slowly ramping up for me. At least somewhat harder f you're trying to get the bonus items in the shrines as well
