So I just bought this game, and I’m struggling with it, not sure where to go in the open universe.

can someone recommend a complete walkthrough to help me with this. Thanks I’m advance

I don't think it has videos but it's very easy to find videos on YouTube related to whatever you're reading in the walkthrough

 

Finally! Also got Revali's Gale today. Can't believe how easy Windblight Ganon was compared to Waterblight. Took him out with nothing but bomb arrows on my first try. Stoked to have this new move, it definitely helped me climb Gerudo Tower!

 

Man, building Tarrey Town was so rewarding. Pretty awesome having cheaper arrows too! Trying to find axes to cut down all of those trees was fucking rough until I realized I can just blow them up with bombs lol.

Finally have my master sword, 14 hearts, a full stamina wheel, and 3/4 divine beasts complete. Still terrified to go against Naboris after hearing many horror stories heh

 

Oh man I don’t remember any of this stuff. Can’t wait to dive back in again on Monday!

what’s Tarrey Town? (Feel free to spoiler tag haha)

there’s a couple of shrines that are bugged on my end as I’m using a mod to make the more difficult/different.

 

After you complete Link's house and purchase all of its upgrades, one of the construction workers goes to the Akkala region to build an entire town, and you can help gather materials and NPCs to populate it

I completely forgot about Link's house, holy shit. I never completed it - I was excited by the prospect but then I got distracted by the rest of the game for like a year, haha. Guess I need to boot it back up.

 

How do you know where to go or what to do? Can someone please break it down a little. I’m at the great plateau with an old man

 

Just look it up man. It’s literally a Google search away.

 

oh perfect. did you talk to him? you need to locate the first shrine that's just a little bit further down the hill from the old man. then a cutscene will start.

also you should have a yellow dot on your map!

basically what you wanna do is

old man -> shrine 1 -> old man again -> tower -> shrines 2, 3 and 4 -> the church -> paraglide to the proper hyrule.

 

Doesn't the old man literally tell you what to do?

well, eventually. You have to run past him after the first encounter, halfway to the camp of enemies, where he reappears on his glider and tells you he’ll trade you for a treasure.

 

Theres also full BOTW walkthroughs on YT that are insanely easy to find.

 

But also you shouldn’t use one because then what’s the point? figuring shit out is the game.

 

Lmao I just murdered the Hinox on Eventide Island by smashing him in the face with metal boxes repeatedly. That was pretty darn satisfying

I think the first time I beat him it was by standing on the cliff and slowly rolling bombs down for like 45 minutes

 

Oh my God, yeah, I tried that too but gave up when I realized it was barely doing any damage lol
