Ann Dowd was FANTASTIC and I audibly gasped at the well scene in International Assassin. I was speechless.

Rectify was so fucking good. So underrated, but I think it was because of the channel it was on and didn't get as much recognition as it deserved. Quality performances throughout.

 

Agree with this. I remember me and my wife were watching the first season as it aired just because it came on right after GOT IIRC, and through like 5 episodes I was pretty sure I was only still watching it because I was so confused and wanted to know what the hell was going on. Then it picks up the 2nd half of the season and the emotional payoff in the last couple episodes (and seeing "The Garvey's at their best") was extremely good IMO.

 

I started it as it aired because of LOST and because it was the first thing I’d seen Christopher Eccelston in since Doctor Who. My gf at the time looked like a college-aged version of Carrie Coon, so we’d watch it together and I’d make fun of her.
