Watched Season 3, episodes 2 and 3. Things are definitely starting to come to a head, I am just not sure what the face is going to look like. "You got the wrong Kevin."
I mean, this show left me mind fucked every week as it was. That episode was just....whew. A lot of times I have to kind of sit with something for a bit to realize how great/not great it was, but that was one of the times where I knew as I was watching it "holy shit this is fantastic" haha The more I think about Season 3, the more I think it seemed like they had at least a little bit more story to tell but had to cut it a little short because they weren't gonna get a season 4, but they still wrap up the story in a really great way. But the more I think about it, the more it felt like they probably had some ideas to explore some of the mysteries of the show for at least a little bit longer and had to say "nah lets just solve this right now". I do like how a lot of the smaller mysteries of the show were both solved and yet left ambiguous enough to make you wonder if that's really all it was (the dog guy in S3Ep1 comes to mind)
2 episodes from ending the show and I’m still not sure how they’re gonna wrap this up in 2 hours of television. Needless to say, I’m excited but also trying to tamper expectations if at all possible. The phone call ending to S3E6 was absolutely gut wrenching and one of my favorite moments of the entire series thus far.
Welp, started a rewatch, couldn’t resist. Just caught that the guy Matt has a run in with at the casino is Carisi from Law and Order SVU lol
Recently recommended this to a former student looking for a new show to watch, she started watching and it both 1. Made me miss this show and 2. Made me jealous that someone gets to experience it for the first time
we're all just waiting for someone to stumble into this thread saying they are starting this for the first time so that we can all get off
