lmao just youtubed the clip because I thought the same thing. Though now I'm actually questioning if that was the same episode or not. For some reason I didn't remember there being a lot of Kevin in that episode. I know he's on the phone with the feds about "a body" but (spoiler tags for chewbacca) if that body is Gladys, she doesn't die for a few more episodes after that. I can't remember what body he was so pissed off about being taken though
Thank you to any and all who want to spoiler tag a 4 year old show haha. It’s greatly appreciated! I’ll definitely be giving thoughts and updates as I watch because some folks enjoy that.
Yeah this is one of those shows where I feel like having anything spoiled would actually ruin some of the enjoyment of the show. But I also like the whole "mystery" aspect of the show so it might be more important to me than others hah
I'm not great at identifying critic writing that is good, but I feel like I remember enjoying reading Vox's articles on it
Watched 7 and 8. I don’t like where things are going with Jill and I read that only season 1 covers the book so I am curious where the season will end.
So we first started watching this because it came on after Game of Thrones and I remember by 4 and 5 I was seriously just saying "What the fuck is happening?!" after every episode lol. Gladys in 5 is so hard to watch. Episode 6 was the Nora episode which was cool. THat 6-7-8 episode run left me so confused about what the hell was going on with Holy Wayne haha
Episode 9 - wow. So glad we got to see how that day played out and where everyone was. Episode 10 - I have no idea what to think of the Holy Wayne story or the ending itself, but I loved the bit with the dolls and ensuing anger.
Went on a tear through the first 4 episodes of season 2. I love that it’s been almost a full series reboot and the town of Miracle is wild so far.
The GR’s plan coming to fruition in S1 was crazy. And yeah, when the score kicks in at the end of Episode 9 as the event happens and my you see how everyone experienced it is great. My theory after Season 1 was that it seemed like a lot of the people who disappeared were maybe someone that somebody else was thinking/feeling that life would be easier if this person didn’t exist right now. And that the guilty feelings that brought was part of why so many people were so fucked up. season 2 is so wild and different by comparison haha. Enjoy the journey. The use of music was already great but Season 2 steps it up a lot. Starting with Where Is My Mind
Oooh I love when we get international assassin reactions. This may be next on my rewatch list after twin peaks.
Where Is My Mind was used twice already (Kevin listening to it while trying to fix the washer in ep 2, then in ep 3 as a piano score). The score, in general, is perfect for this show. Pure melancholy when the piano comes in or the violin theme they used a lot in season 1. I got chills every damn time.
