My guess is this will be the "lead in" show to GOT this year. This will end and then we'll get a space week or two for Memorial Day and then GOT will start.
Rewatching season two and Kevin's father mentioned in the second episode that he was moving to Australia, which is where season three takes place. If thats an old discovery then sorry
Glad y'all in the Westworld thread told me to start watching this. I got 3 episodes in last night and I'm hooked. It definitely gets slow at some parts but even when it's slow it does a GREAT job at getting under your skin. The white cult(?) is already so god damn grating. The last half of episode 3 with Matt/the priest gambling and what not had me on the edge of my seat. Great stuff.
I spent the first 6 episodes or so wondering what the hell was going on and couldn't tell if I liked the show or just liked being confused and seeing what would happen next. Then the end of the Season fucking ruled and made me realize that yep, it was a great show and I liked it.
There is a ton of stuff about Australia throughout season two including news reports of a man coming back to life. Fun stuff.
Yeah one of the tv reports in the background of a scene was a man from North America or something that was believed to be one of the departed showed up in a cave in australia. Forget the details of it.
Just watched the first episode; great hook. Pretty realistic portrayal of how the characters react to the situation. But is it me or do the colors in the show look saturated? Also, that scene on the lawn looked kind of low budget, but it's good enough so far. Plus, I trust y'all recommendation haha
Oh man I am fuming on that 3 mil bid. On the second season, the series really found its voice from the Nora-centric episode on.
I'm watching international assassin right now I think I'm in the middle of watching perfection right now
Wow. What a season. Unbelievable how much the second season stepped up. A lot to digest, but that was up there. So unbelievably cool.
Honestly, weirdly my favorite musical moments were either music during International Assassin or Kyabe Knights playing while Kevin walks around Jarden in the finale. That scene was the shows thesis in style
