    80% going to night 1, 50% night 2

Really wish this wasn't the same weekend as the ETID shows every year

I feel like they used to war on Xmas earlier in December and then since 2017 it’s been the same weekend.

Crazy jealous of anybody who gets to go to this! Nights #1 and #2 are fantastic from top to bottom. Less enthused by #3 but that's just because I put Ellway firmly in the "whatever" category.

One of these years, I'll make it out there. My biggest hesitation is usually that I've just been to Chicago for Riot Fest in September and/or that my Christmas season is so busy that I quite literally don't have the time for travel.

But seriously. One of these years...

I've been wanting to go for years but ETID holiday show is just way more convenient and always the same weekend. Before that Menz were doing holiday shows the same weekend and I would go to those lol

I am very excited to do night 1 this year and I know I'll be sad to leave the next morning

Yeah, the ETID holiday show is usually pretty tempting as well! But never quite enough to get me to go all the way out to Buffalo. Haha.

The one show I tend to do annually is the Bosstones' Hometown Throwdown but that's just because I'm right in Boston. Hah! And even that one I go to based purely on the openers... Which is so hit or miss. One year it was solid front to back (Fishbone, Big D and the Kids Table, a Lost City Angels reunion, Andrew W.K.) and the year before or after it was just old Boston bands I had never heard of and like, the Queers. Hah.

Wild jealous of you all! How was Direct Hit?!!

Even more jealous of anybody who gets to go tonight! Hoping Catbite wins everybody over.

Direct Hit was good. No Maura and a standard set of songs. Good energy though.

Catbite was good, but not many people knew them. Pretty good reaction for them.

Broadway Calls had a really good reaction and was easily the best opener in terms of crowd reaction. They did their Menz cover which was kind of cool.

    Set for night 2:

    Quiet Storm
    Porno and Snuff Films
    Lose Your Illusion
    Cut It Up
    Stranger’s Floor
    Pigeons and Spies
    Metropole
    Spit Shining
    Intransit
    Pensacola

    The Northside, The L&L
    Drunk Mouth
    Seventeener
    The Raw and Searing Flesh
    The Disaster March
    Like a Record Player

The band stopped and then continued Pigeons bc someone fell crowd surfing and had to be helped out.
