I don't think they were FLAC when I got them but Oddfellows and Are Friends Electric are on this page here. Weezer Song Catalog He had quite a few I was missing. I used the right click inspect element thing and found the mp3 file on the page while it was playing.
While we're on the subject of Weezer, does anyone have the version of Mykel & Carli that was a bonus track on Death to False Metal?
All pending weezer requests will be filled on Saturday...if anyone else needs =w=, now's your chance. If you need it, I bet I've got it in best possible quality.
Maybe we should do a massive Post for Weezer. They have TONS of Outtakes and Special Releases. Just an opinion ;)
That's quite an offer, thank you! I'm looking for good rips of these 4 vinyls if you have them please: Pork & Beans - UK #2 (If You're Wondering If I Want You To) I Want You To - 7″ picture disc (If You're Wondering If I Want You To) I Want You To - Promo 7″ orange vinyl
A question for Weezer hardcore fans: Many years ago I knew that the band released many demos which were compiled as Black album, Grey album and White Album (Nothing to do with 2016 White album). Are there FLAC for these unofficial releases? As far as I know, those demos or outtakes (or whatever) are from Pinkerton, Green album, Maladroit eras.
I have just about everything, in 320, if you are looking. I do not hold on to FLAC, but I always try to convert myself.
Here's I Woke Up In Love This Morning (Partridge Family cover) from the I Want You To 7" in 24/96 FLAC: Rivers Cuomo and Sloan - I Woke Up In Love This Morning (Partridge Family cover)(24-96).flac (66.49MB) - SendSpace.com This isn't actually weezer, it's Rivers with Canadian band Sloan backing him (former labelmates on DGC). Volume 1 of Rivers Cuomo's Alone series has another cover song from the same sessions, Dion's Little Diane. Should I Stay Or Should I Go from the other I Want You To 7" is one of the only FLACs I don't have, I've only got the iTunes version. Looks like the rest of the requests have been filled, good work folks! Not sure who compiled those, but I've been active in the weezer community since 2001 and have never heard of those particular compilations. There are however scores of demos from those eras, most of which were never released in FLAC. Some were however, such as Songs From The Black Hole, the space-opera that was eventually dissolved into Pinkerton, demos of which have been released through the three volumes of Rivers' Alone series, and the 2010 deluxe reissue of Pinkerton. There are also FLAC demos of many of the album songs and b-sides from the Fort Apache sessions: (1995) Fort Apache Sessions (Pinkerton demos).zip (119.22MB) - SendSpace.com The Green Album demos mentioned are probably actually the Summer Songs 2000, of which a compilation was released on weezer's site, but not in FLAC. There are a couple of FLAC demos from the Green Era that have leaked, cuz as New Joint/Cryin' And Lonely from a promo CD, and Everybody Go Away from the Fresh Cuts vol.4 compilation: tgademo.zip (44.16MB) - SendSpace.com The many Maladroit demos released on the weezer site throughout the recording process of that album, and the "album 4.5" demos which followed Maladroit's release but were shelved for what would eventually become Make Believe, were also never released in FLAC.
I Woke Up In Love This Morning is also on the Japanese Deluxe Edition of Raditude for those that don't know, i can provide CD FLAC rip of that if needed. I think Should I Stay Or Should I Go from the 7" is the same as the iTunes version which perhaps is taken from one of their many official bootleg CD's from 2009... i don't know which one however as i don't have them all. It's not from any of the ones i do have... so a FLAC version could technically exist if you find which CD it is. Which tracks from both SFTBH tracklists are yet to be officially released from the actual SFTBH recording sessions? Is it Tired Of Sex, Getchoo, IJTOTLOMD, Devotion, YWGWMT, Why Bother & Waiting On You? I have all the ones that have been but need confirmation on what is missing or whether i have them & don't know it!
I've asked this many many times, but does anyone have a good, clear sounding copy of Brandon Flowers' cover of Kim Carnes "Bette Davis Eyes"? He did an incredible cover on Abbey Road sessions. IS there any way anyone can some how get a good rip of this? It's been one of my most searched for songs for years
Thanks for the info and the tracks!! ;) Here's some info about the unofficial "black" album The Black Album (2001) - Weezerpedia
These particular Steak House/Cello demos were never released, as far as I know. As the article states, most of the songs from these sessions were re-recorded for Maladroit, so those recordings were released as studio in-progress mp3s on a daily basis through late 2001/early 2002 on weezer.com, with the official messageboard tracking the changes on various takes and commenting directly to Rivers (ex: through the many versions of Dope Nose that were released, the "whoa"s were removed due to a board suggestion, but then the rest of the board revolted and the "whoa"s were reinstated. Good times.). A couple of those were only released as live recordings (such as The Dawn), and only one hasn't seen the light of day in any form (As The Day Goes By aka Flat Tire). None of this was ever released in any sort of lossless form. I believe I have every mp3 released from that era, which I can package and post if people want, as it was all free to download in the first place. Be forewarned that there's alot of stuff (like 14 takes of Keep Fishin').
got any love for another follower of Real Estate? :) can't find it anywhere Two Part, Part Two that is
