no worries. the rip I did via cd is good enough for my ears....30 odd years of drumming in loud bands and almost anything sounds ok to me.
thru posts on random blogs, i've collected the singles/EPs for: 30th century man, balloon, black metallic, i want to touch you, peel session, judy staring at the son, painful thing, she's my friend, show me mary. oddly enough, i own the single for waydown (the only thing i could provide in FLAC), but don't have it ripped onto my cpu. let me know what you're interested in!
Trust me, you're not missing out on anything w/the "high quality" 24/96 rip - BUT, the completeist / audio snob in me won't deny you the chance to check for yourself. PM sent :)
Yeah, it's a disease. No matter how lo-fi the source, I always try to get lossless if I can. FWIW, I looked at a spectrogram of the file, and it's a legit 96 kHz recording. ;)
has anyone got anything by an english band called Thousand Yard Stare? they released a few ep's in the early 90's and recently reformed. any of the following would be appreciated. Weatherwatching ep Keepsake ep Buttermouth ep Seasonstream ep Version Of Me CD 1 and CD2 cheers in advance.
phantasmo33 said: Anyone happen to have 'A Job To Do' by Jerry Cantrell from the John Wick 2 soundtrack? It's an album-only iTunes track. Thanks! Can I get this track as well please?
Does anyone have the following Matt Pryor and Dan Andriano single? S/T - Single by Matt Pryor & Dan Andriano on Apple Music
I've got a TON of Catherine Wheel b-sides, though I'm not sure about the quality. Most were pulled off of Napster or Audio Galaxy back in the day. If there's any specific ones you want, let me know.
What is the highest quality we can rip off of Youtube? Two videos on a DVD that I cannot seem to find are both on Youtube. Can anyone help? Pulled Up Live I Feel It in My Heart Thanks in advance.
The YouTube videos are both encoded with 240p H.264 video and 128 kbps AAC audio. I can download the streams directly from YouTube if you want, but that's the best quality you are going to get.
I can normally extract the audio from videos in quality they are in but it is usually 96 m4a or 128 m4a.
I will take 128. I usually rip as a WAV from the DVD, but for some reason I cannot find them on the dvd!
Well, now that I've extracted the audio, it's actually 96, not 128, and in mono. Sending you a PM anyway.
Actually, those videos are on the DVD side of Talking Heads: 77 from the Talking Heads "brick" box set. Give me a few hours and I'll rip the audio to WAV. ETA: Oh, I think I see what you were saying. DVD-Audio Extractor can't "see" the video portion of a DVD-Audio, but I was able to rip the videos using Mac DVDRipper Pro and then extract the audio with MPEG Streamclip. Sending you another PM.
You rule! I tried DVD Audio Extractor with no luck. I do have a couple of remix bootlegs that were just sent to me, if you would like them, I would be glad to send to you.
Can anyone PM in the direction of the liner notes to Velvet Underground set Peel Slowly and See? Got the discs from the library, but would love to read the liner notes.
Forgot to check on this - was it just the mp3 that's floating around? If it's a lossless copy - can I get in on that action too, thx! EDIT: for some reason the msg I replied to isn't showing, but this was for the new Jerry Cantrell track on the "John Wick 1" OST - thx
Really odd request (for me, at least), but does anyone have the album The Pilgrim: A Celebration of Kris Kristofferson? I need the track "Darby's Castle" by Russell Crowe and the Ordinary Fear of God, preferably in 320.
