I have missed an apparent demo CD by a German band (Madsen) a few years too and it never surfaced anywhere, what a bummer.

Hey everyone! First off, happy holidays and hope you all have a wonderful New Year. Thanks for all of the great music over the years. Secondly, I have a huge request. I'm really hoping someone has this. It might not have gotten into peoples hands yet but I'm putting it out there. I'm a big fan of the metal supergroup The Damned Things. They recently released a 7 inch of an old song that wasn't available lately called "Trophy Widow" and the b-side for the 7 inch is something that is either nothing or a brand new (previously unreleased) track called "File Missing". If anyone was able to purchase this (it's sold out at only 250 available) and could rip that track, if it's indeed a song, I would be super grateful. I think it's only been available for about a week or so, so if anyone did order it and hasn't gotten it, that's understandable but if someone at some point could do a HQ rip and send it to me, I'd really appreciate it. I have to apologize. My latest CD Rips were not good at all, they all had audible clicks which I missed unfortunately. Ever since I have to use an external BD drive my good ol' FairStars CD Ripper has problems ripping, apparently and those rips are not acceptable. After a number of false starts I believe I can finally say "Yes" to this! To be clear: This is not my transfer but I have done all that I can to verify it as genuine - the track lengths are what I would expect, Fakin' the Funk reports the actual bit rate matches the advertised bit rate, the spectrogram looks 'right' in Spek, Lossless Audio Checker reports it as 'Clean', and a listen through with headphones presents all the hallmarks of a vinyl transfer. So, while I ask that you take this transfer with an appropriate dose of skepticism, I do suggest that you take this transfer and enjoy; I certainly have! The transfer is encoded using FLAC at 24/96.
