thank you so much! i believe it was a bonus track from good morning revival. edit: nvm my itunes says its from the river single
The EU MaxiSingle of 'The River' (which we've both linked to on different sites - discogs & wikipedia) has the following tracklist: 1 - The River (Album Version) 2 - The River (Acoustic Version) 3 - You're Gone (Previously Unreleased Track) 4 - The River (Video) which is the only place I've found "You're Gone" to be track #3, and was the 'tell' for me to assume the posted song was from the EU MaxiSingle of 'The River'. As an interesting aside your post made me look a bit more closely at the track list and conclude that, while I'm still after the previously requested EU MaxiSingle, I believe that the CDDA tracks from the single CD can be compiled from the regular release of the album 'Good Morning Revival' (for track #1 from the single), the iTunes release of the same album (for track #2 from the single), and from the previously posted 'You're Gone' (for track #3 from the single). And so I shall get on with enjoying this compiled single! (If anyone needs/wants any of the above-listed tracks in FLAC please let me know!)
Since we're on a GC streak, does anyone have The River (NOT featuring Avenged) in good quality? Also does anyone have "Like It's Her Birthday" featuring Jenna McDougall from Tonight Alive?
I believe you have several options for 'The River' without without M. Shadows and Synyster Gates of the band Avenged Sevenfold. Unfortunately for you I'm not aware of any studio versions of 'The River' that don't include Shadows and Gates; I'm happy to be wrong if you're aware of one and can point me to a discogs, wiki, musicbrainz, etc. entry for it! The options I know you do have are: - The first is included as the acoustic version in the EU MaxiSingle posted above by cyanfire (this same version is included again on some editions of 'Good Morning Revival'). - The second is the live version from 'The Live Lounge Performances'. and I can happily provide any of these in FLAC if you'd like - just let me know what you want. As for 'Like It's Her Birthday' feat. Jenna McDougall from Tonight Alive I'm sorry to say I can't find any evidence that this was released via any method that would provide decent quality. Even more interestingly the only place I'm able to find that it was released was on YouTube. I'm happy to be wrong about any of the above if someone knows better!
Happily! Here are GC's Live Lounge Performances. These came straight from Apple Music in ALAC -> FLAC. Enjoy! Password for the archive is my username.
Thanks for the response! Here's the Youtube rip I have of The River (Original Version). I was wrong, the Avenged guys are on it, but I believe Joel sings the second verse instead of M Good Charlotte - The River (Original Version).mp3
https://www.mediafire.com/file/kojqhmzu1p1h5hn/GC.zip/file For the life of me I can't remember how or where I got these. They were never officially released on a CD or as a bonus track to an album.
Does anyone have a link to Alice In Chains Glam Gives Way To Gloom 2 cd set (demos) in flac? Cheers in advance.
If my memory serves me correctly, the studio version of The River with less of the Avenged guys came from a copy of the music video where it's just GC, whether it was released before the version we know or whether it was leaked i'm unsure. I remember it being shared around online and it was an .avi file. The audio was extracted from that, the only known source
Speaking of Good Charlotte, does anyone here have a FLAC copy of their cover of Footloose? I'm looking for it for ages!
Oh, I wasn't aware of that. I actually have a 192kbps mp3 version of it, but it could be easily a lossy transcode. It actually sounds pretty decent though, better than 64kbps for sure.
Ohh i'd be interested in checking that out, have never seen it in better quality apart from 128 which IS a transcode of the 64kbps
Ah this is in fact more generated than the 64kbps mp3. I am very confident this is a rip of the 64kbps uploaded to the old myspace player. It has that particular sound to it and the spek looks like those old rips
Has anyone come across Sting 3.0 vinyl rip version with 17 tracks? I have the 10 track version in lossless. Sting | Discography | STING 3.0 LIVE (2025 Record Store Day Release)
Hi, Does anyone happen to have Helmet's covers of Lord Of This World and Symptom Of The Universe in flac? I have them in 320 MP3 but can't find the flac versions anywhere, Thanks in advance.
I've put your Helmet requests here. By way of back ground (in case someone searches for this in future): - Lord of This World (Black Sabbath cover): originally appeared on "Volume Eleven: Reading Special", Compilation (1994) - Symptom of the Universe (Black Sabbath cover): originally appeared on "The Jerky Boys: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack" (1995) Archive password is my username. Enjoy!
I know this may sound cheeky but do you have any other Helmet rarities in flac to share? Cheers in advance.
