Hi friends here is an early version of Home Grown's song "No Way Out" allegedly from 1995, way before the final version released on EP Phone Home in 1999. Home Grown - No Way Out 1995 - Google Drive And here is an alternate demo version of Gob's "I Hear You Calling" which was apparently posted to the drummer Gabe's Myspace in 2005. It's a half step down and wayyyyy different. This kind of blew my mind to hear. That makes 4 versions by my count: Original demo, World According to Gob album, Foot in Mouth Disease album, and this 2005 demo. Gob - I Hear You Calling 2005.mp3
Anyone have the foo fighters cover of Darling Nikki Released on the CD single of have it all Foo Fighters - Have It All FLAC or anything lossless would be great.
This is probably not the best thread to ask in, but interested in if you all have opinions on this since this is a digital music library thread: Other than Bandcamp where I can purchase/download music directly from artists, what is the best above-board service for building a digital music library? I've been a very Spotify person for years, but I am starting to become more interested in moving away from that, and maybe purchasing a digital album a week or something. Is iTunes the way to go, or is there a better alternative? Thanks in advance!
qobuz is pretty good for getting most things you can think of in high quality. the download process can be a pain though but it's still usually my go-to these days
can vouch for Qobuz. prices are a little big higher for anything above CD quality, but they offer a variety of download options. management wise, i know people swear by foobar for offline stuff. i used JRiver religiously for several years for offline playback, but ended up subscribing to Apple Music to integrate my personal library into my streaming library. anything that's not on their servers i upload, but stuff i purchase i keep a copy of on my external hard drive as a backup.
oh yeah if you want just to organise stuff foobar is your best bet, it's literally endlessly customisable. can make it look and run any way you want totally for free
Does anybody have Matt Skiba's cover of "Field of Darkness" by Pegboy from this album? The World I Know (A Tribute To Pegboy), Various Interprets - Qobuz
Here you go: 17.85 MB folder on MEGA The same exact recording was later released on Matt Skiba's "Demos" album.
Thanks dude I had assumed that the one on "Demos" was a demo version because the track length was slightly different
