Oh, one more thing: the whole b-side hunting thing (for me) started when I got into U2. Because holy shit do they have a fuckton of b-sides. Hunting for their b-sides made me think, "Hey, I bet Bryan Adams has some awesome b-sides too!" and down the rabbit hole I went. >.<
Glad to read the story of how you got into b-sides. I got into collecting U2 b-sides awhile back as well and finally had to throw up my hands and admit temporary defeat 'cause there were just too many to keep track of. Still got my eyes out, though...
For any old farts here, they just released Hendrix's Band of Gypsys' 1st full show from the Fillmore - and hot damn, it smokes! Highly recommended..
Looking for Foo Fighters B-sides if anyone has them! I have the Million Dollar Demos but I'm missing pretty much everything else.
I've been wishing their cover of Conversation would get released too, but I'm not sure if it's a legal issue or what? Big fan of that band!
Do you have the Synch Limitied Edition version of The Glorious Dead? It has a bonus disc with some b-sides, instrumental versions and a few songs from earlier albums on it. Let me know if you need it.
Desperately trying to find an old Ray LaMontagne B-Side I once had until an external drive took a shit and I lost a huge portion of my rarities collection. Someone in this thread once found it for me years ago and it took me 2 years of looking for me to finally get it. I have yet to get it back again. It's a cover of The Band's "In A Station" he did live. Here's a link to the single from Discogs. I once found someone selling the single on eBay, but they wanted almost $80 for it!!! https://www.discogs.com/Ray-Lamontagne-Three-More-Days/master/583862 Anyone that can find this for me I will be in debt to.
Would be nice if they just released the single, like they did for Sharon Jones' cover of "Midnight Rider" in a similar Lexus (?) commercial..
That's a pretty non-specific request ;) I'll send you a PM w/some suggestions of where to perhaps locate these
I know this is a tad early as the record hasn't even come out yet, but I've heard through the grapevine that Jimmy Eat World - My Enemy is out in the world now. Apparently they did an in-store and gave away the Sure and Certain 7" for free... Anyone see any trace of this yet.....?
What he said. I think we have a pretty comprehensive list of b sides on this board. Let us know what you are looking for and we will see what we can do.
Would you by any chance have the live version of "Mercy" that, I think, was only released on vinyl for Record Store Day back in 2010? Just found out about it a few days ago. Thanks if you can help!
