Actually, I don't know. I looked for it on Deezer, but it was not there. Same thing on iTunes and discogs.
Not an official release on CD. I think it might be on the box set DVD only Chris Cornell - Chris Cornell
I'm on the hunt for a few old iTunes tracks that have been pulled from the site in recent years and are no longer able to be purchased; I don't have a guarantee that these were upgraded from 128 to 256 back in the day when Apple upped their bitrate and dropped the strict DRM. Would love these in original not-transcoded 256 AAC but would also be interested in confirmation that these were only ever in copy protected 128 m4p and can't be salvaged, if anyone ever purchased them. David Gray - Second Halo (Draw the Line preorder bonus track) Mandy Moore - Swept Away (Wild Hope bonus track) Dixie Chicks - Live Wire (Taking The Long Way era standalone bonus track) Fran Healy - Zebra (Wreckorder bonus track) Better Than Ezra - In Between Moments (Paper Empire bonus track) Joan Osborne - Losing You All Over Again (Pretty Little Stranger bonus track)
I have a genuine 256 m4a copy of Second Halo from itunes store. If you PM me your email address I'm happy to share with you.
I don't have PM privileges yet it seems, but if you don't mind e-mailing bklynjo@gmail.com I'd appreciate it a lot! Thanks!
While I'm thinking of it, another long-shot, but does anyone have Alanis Morissette's Big Sur and Into A King direct from the download code that came with the vinyl single? I'm wondering what bitrate it came in from the label?
Anyone happen to have the complete Flaming Lips "iTunes Originals" (live session) in it's native mp4 format they can share? P&T!
Thank you so much, buddy. BTW, I didn't know there more "rock/acoustic versions" for Scream Album tracks. I just knew about Scream and Long Gone. But today I discover Never Far Away "Rock Version". How Many songs in this album have Alternate Versions? (I won't count stuff from Part of me Remix EP and Long Gone International Version)
there aren't anymore rock re-workings. originally the plan was for Cornell to work with a couple of producers and redo the whole Scream album but they only did a couple of songs - Long Gone and Never Far Away. He got back together with Soundgarden before they could finish the project. It's a shame, I would have liked to hear a whole redo of the album.
If anyone comes across the new WILCO YFH super deluxe version and can point me in the right direction, I will be thankful. Looking for it in lossless.
Thanks so much! Were these from your own download code? I had found 320kbps versions online at one point, but I assume those were transcodes. Shame she never released them in lossless anywhere. Really appreciate the share!
Me too. I respect the fact that Chris Cornell wanted to do something different with this album, however I think if he would had made this album using his unique style, it would be SO much better.
