yeah with no swearing i know in "Sober" the clean version i've heard says "Jesus won't you try and whistle" and in "Prison Sex" he just says "blood on my hands" near the end instead. I have kids but still want to listen to good music hahaha
I have some Tool stuff on my harddrive. I'll gave a look later. I think I had the Prison Sex cd on there, not sure if it has an edit on it.
04 - Prison Sex (Edit) - MP3 Download, Play, Listen Songs - 4shared - Darren Catterall it's 160kbps there you go....enjoy. unfortunately I don't have the clean version of Sober.
Does anyone have Modest Mouse- trailer trash ........The version that I think is a demo. It has the lyrics at the end (you spend your whole life looking for the adult that you are........)
This place is kind of slow. We need to do something to kick it up a notch. What can we do to spice up the thread some?
I'm looking for the digital b-side and rarities bonus that was included in Local H's 2015 biography entitled Twenty-Five Years of Skin in the Game . I have no idea what the actual tracklist is other than it consists of more than 12 tracks. In addition, I'm still trying to find a vinyl rip of this 2014 Fest exclusive: Chunksaah Records to release exclusive compilation for The Fest

Um, maybe a little lively discussion? Like, how did you get bitten by the b-side bug? And what has been your most treasured acquisition so far, the one you invested a lot of time and energy (and maybe money) to track down and obtain? Me, I started in middle school with one of the greatest b-sides of all time - "Erotic City" by Prince. Up till then I thought the songs on the album were all there were. Discovering tracks like "Irresistible Bitch" and "17 Days" and "Horny Toad" was like finding precious gems, and I quickly got hooked. I hunted down Springsteen's "Pink Cadillac," discovered older stuff like "Jiving Sister Fanny" by the Stones, and swapped blank CDRs with other fans for homemade compilations with hard-to-find recordings like the single version of Mick Jagger's "Hard Woman" and the bonus tracks from Curve's ultra-rare "Superblaster" EP. Things took a lot more effort during the pre-Napster days! One song that I spent months searching for was the DJ Quik remix of RATM's "Guerrilla Radio." I had only heard about it through a few measly articles on Google and at the time, nobody seemed to have even a low-quality MP3 of it. I managed to win a CD promo copy off eBay that shipped from Australia, so it took a long time to arrive, but when I got it, it felt like I'd won the lottery. Great feeling. Reminds me of why I spend so much time collecting. Anyone else have a story to share? If this isn't the proper place for such a discussion, my apologies, and please pm me. I enjoy hearing about how people got interested in music.
Sharon Jones & the Dap Kings released a cover of the Allman's "Midnight Rider" which is pretty funky (despite being in a Lincoln car commercial w/McConaughey) - just sayin'...
Cream's "Fresh Cream". Once I learned of the 2 tracks found only on the Euro edition, my 13 year old self simply had to find them. On a family trip to France 30 yrs back I found the elusive vinyl release with the 2 bonus tracks & that pretty much lit the fuse for my b-side obsession.. Still have the 12'' I believe! :)
Let's start with my completionist issues. That is where things all start. Go back to the late 1980's when Cassette singles were just hitting. I remember finding U2's 3 on cassette and I was hooked. The urge/need to have every and all "official" songs has always been a drive. Of course it helps when your all time favorite artist (Bob Dylan) released his own box set of outtakes in 1993 and being the purveyor of some of the greatest b sides and bootlegs. I also really love the hunt and the chase. Being the person to hunt down the occasional Sasquatch by either buying the Japanese version of Hello Hurricane by Switchfoot or making the right connection on Discogs, I love the hunt. Plus, I know this will sound corny, but I have met some pretty good friends, including Silverjetz, JestaCat, Phantasmo33, Mudville, Hiroki, Taracyanara, and so many more with the love of B sides.
More region specific music - ughhhhhh! Looking for the HDtracks version of The Temperance Movement's "White Bear" - which includes 2 bonus tracks: White Bear | HDtracks - The World's Greatest-Sounding Music Downloads Unfortunately (and of course!), it's not available in Canada - and the one in the Canadian 7Digital store, doesn't have the 2 extra tracks. Should it BE this difficult to buy music? Yes, that was my best Chandler ("Friends") impression.. Anyone care to help a brother out? Can paypal in kind or purchase something from itunes / 7Digital Canada - or just trade.. Thanks b-siders to anyone who can assist - cheers!
Are you looking to buy the whole disc? Appears to be album only tunes. I can buy it and you can Paypal if need be. Just send me a PM and let me know. If not, I will keep my eyes peeled for the tracks.
Jimmy Eat World - Jen (studio version, not the demo version) in 320 or FLAC. All I've ever heard is an awful transcoded version for years. This is my holy grail b-side. Someone please help me.
