Thank you so much! I did noticed this is mixed lower than the other two acoustic songs included in the iTunes Store version. Is this the original file? I don't want to sound rude, though, I've been looking for this for months now. Cheers.

I’m fairly sure I got that from the Vinyl pre order. I mean, 2011 is a little spotty to remember lol. But I’m very confident that I pre ordered in order to get that immediate track before the full band version was even out. I think I got the other acoustic tracks from the old BsidesRus.com page. But having a free mp3 of Yellow Belly and Anthology acoustic before the full album dropped seems very familiar.

 

That's very reassuring, so thanks again! I am an audiophile so I notice differences in mixing and stuff like that. I just refuse to convert the YouTube official upload of the song. The audio quality is usually somewhere between 125-128kps.

I've been trying to hunt down rare b-sides from the band 10 Years. Mostly, all I've been able to find are either transcodes or 128kps-192kps mp3. Others I've been able to get in high quality/original format.

Does anyone has any of these in high quality (hopefully FLAC) or original format?

Does anyone have The Roots of ZZ Top? (18 tracks, 2010). Similar to other albums with pre-ZZ stuff, but with a couple of tracks I'm missing. Cheers.

 

Let's see...I had bought Pacemaker when it came out. The original file was 128kbps in m4p format and then iTunes let you upgrade certain tracks you'd already purchased to 256kbps m4a. Here is that file: 14 Pacemaker
and a 320kbps copy I found online, don't know if it is from a CD because I don't remember it ever being on a physical cd? 10 Years - Pacemaker

I believe the acoustic version of Beautiful was only 192kbps because it was a download special, if memory serves me correct. But I bougth the 97X Green Room Vol. 4 CD which has the same exact track but a little shorter. This is that file from my cd in WAV: 04 - 10 Years - Beautiful (acoustic)

So Long Goodbye Rock Version was only released on iTunes, I've never seen it on a CD. I'm not sure I have the original m4a, I believe I converted it to an mp3. That might be a transcode.
