Fallon and Colbert "respond" with just the lamest jokes/bits imaginable

 

Those were not bad responses…. Not a powerful, strong response but a good start .

 

Honestly I was surprised Fallon said anything at all.

Colbert devoted the entire episode to the subject just like The Daily Show did. Cold Open, Monologue, return of The Colbert Report, and two journalists as guests. Not a weak response.

I Wonder what the odds are for the monologue to be tame or over the top....

 

Nexstar and Sinclair affiliates aren’t even going to air it so no reason not to go scorched earth.

There used to be an announcement, maybe weekly, that showed the musical guests/guests for all the late night talk shows.

Is that still being posted, or not?

No, but I hope they reboot the Colbert Report when he's ready

My bets are finals guests: Jon Stewart, David Letterman, and Jon Batiste as musical guest.

 

Final guest probably going to be Obama or something lol

 

Maybe final week, but I think final show is gonna be more personal. Definitely final guest segment is gonna be Letterman 100%

 

Well that would be cool. Getting Conan would be cool, too.

 

I think Colbert is gonna wanna go off with him and Letterman ending The Late Show together.

Considering how big of a Neutral Milk Hotel fan he is, maybe we will be blessed.

 

Kimmel announced he will not air a new episode competing with the final episode of The Late Show out of deference to Colbert. Last time he did that was Letterman's final show.

 

We were both slightly off. Obama interview his final month, but not final week or final show.
