You do hear a dog get called Bonnie in the game, but it’s similar to the WLF getting hung where it’s just something you’d hear as you get close to a group of patrolling wolves.

Killing Mel, Owen, and jeese plus almost killing Tommy in the last episode of the season seems like a lot.

So, regarding s3 filming, I don’t know if going off Isabela’s comment is a huge indicator of much. Assuming there isn’t a major change in what Dina does, she would only have one scene to shoot if they end up doing the time jump after s3. And if they include the whole game next season, she has her brief scene in the theater and then the time jump. It’s possible the bulk of 3 could be shot this year still. Sure, it could have all been pushed back, but Isabela is going to have a much smaller role next season.

  6. If it is a two+ year gap that wait is gonna be brutal if they’re ending this season where we all assume they are lol

I wouldn’t be surprised if show Dina has much more content after the time jump than she did in the game. She’s been more integral for the story in the show and I wouldn’t be surprised that’s because they have much more planned for her going forward.

I had the same thought about Dina not actually being in the show much next season but obviously wasn’t going to say that there either.

I will mention the ViewerAnon account has seemed to have heard the same thing about them starting filming next year though.

Entirely possible. But they could do a s3 up to the end of the theater fight and I don’t think they could add Dina into much. We would have already seen Dina’s POV if they were to include her in Abby’s 3 days. I guess it depends if s3 is the end or up to the time jump.

I think they have to go that route. Killing Mel is impactful because of Dina, Owen has to so that he can tell Ellie Mel is pregnant as his last breath and one more down for Ellie's hitlist. And Jesse is the season cliff hanger.

I don't remember how to Tommy almost die?

Yeah Tommy got hit by an arrow from Lev and then Abby shoots him but it just grazes his head and he doesn’t die but loses vision in one of his eyes.

He gets shot in the face and loses an eye.

Which isn’t clear at the time. You don’t learn Tommy survived until the time jump.

If you go to 8:52, that's the scene with Jesse, Tommy, and Ellie. You don't see anything happen to Tommy?

You do, but when I first played it appeared he was shot in the head and was dead. His fate is not clear on seeing only that. Generally headshots are fatal, but knowing what actually happened, you can see how he avoided death.

Then it happens after the Abby section and we get to the theater with her and Lev but it’s still the same scene. Will be interesting to see if they put it at the end of the season or not.

I know they seem to only be doing one episode for each day of Ellie’s, but do we think they’ll do the same for Abby? I would think they’d want to stretch them out to maybe two episodes each day, that way we have a little more time with all of those characters.

Yeah, but I don't think they'll show that in the finale.

I know there’s a full version of Troy covering future days as Joel. I wonder if they would use that as like the end credits song since they already used an Ashley Johnson cover. Or just use the original at some point

  23. I think the third season will follow the structure of the second somewhat but in reverse, instead of starting with a few episodes in Jackson they're ending with a few episodes in the farm and Santa Barbara. Three episodes for three days in Seattle, one episode of flashbacks

Since finishing Part II for the first time I went back and tried to replay Part I (PS4 Remastered version) and it's crazy how clunky these gameplay mechanics and controls feel like now after experiencing how smooth they are in the sequel.

Part 2 is probably one of the best tps/survival horror games gameplay wise ever imo.
