we still have no resolution to her immunity which at minimum requires TLOU3 haha. I don't get why people think it's not happening. They're gonna finish that story regardless if it's a surprise release during the TV show run or in several years after Intergalactic is released and they can focus on 3.

 

I'm sure it's in pre-production now. Studios aren't literally doing 1 game at a time, it's a pipeline

 

I don't think we'll get Intergalatic till 2027 which would be a bummer as i really thought they weren't going to drop news on anything till closer but that's my gut feeling (plus a few articles about it maybe probably not coming out 26). I honestly was hoping like EARLY next year so 2027 would be a bummer.

So TLOU3 will be much later (and yes, I know they can work on both at once).

Nah, the show will come first and then the game will be based on the show.

 

I know a third game will make them an insane amount of money so I’m sure they are going to, but I don’t know why everyone thinks it’s impossible that they’re actually not going to make another one. Thematically, the second game sort of wrapped things up. It’s not necessary to continue

It's not that you're wrong, because you're not, but I just don't believe it, and neither should anyone else. Money talks, and everything's eventual.

 

I think it makes total sense that people would like an ending that is a little bit more positive than Ellie allowing her PTSD and desire for revenge to drive everyone out of her life to be completely on her own.

 

Greg will never see me agree with him, because like Ellie, he let his hate overcome him.

 

Something more optimistic for LOU3 would be good, maybe reverse the roles of game 1 and have LOU3 feature an older Ellie looking after a kid. Idk

 

The whole point is the cycle of violence and revenge leads only to misery. I think it’s perfectly acceptable that Ellie has to live with what she’s done. I wouldn’t mind if we don’t get a third game. Not everything has to be a trilogy

 

Never said it doesn’t make sense or fit the game. But people wanting more or better for her makes total sense.

 

That wasn't the theme of the first game though, was it? Pretty sure it's gone on record that the first game is about love and the second about hate. It would make sense for the third to be about something to fit the pattern. Redemption works.

She has to win Dina back somehow

 

I guess Ellie trying to find Dina and JJ could be a good sequel, but I also would like the next game to feature another time jump.

 

I feel like her chance with Dina has passed. I assume Dina went back to Jackson.

 

Yeah I don’t see Dina getting back with Ellie, but I would like to see what happened to her and JJ after they left the farm. Roanoke mystery of the LOU

 

Pulling for a Future Days cold open with a smash cut to Ellie waking up in Jackson tonight. End with them arriving in Seattle maybe.
