It’s already been renewed for season 3. That happened like 3 weeks ago

 

I know that. I said a third season for part two of the game, as in three seasons to tell the story of part two.

 

They haven’t said anything other than it’s been renewed for season 3

 

They have previously said they’ve considered four seasons total

 

I think it will come down to how many episodes season 3 ends up being. They could make it like 10-12 episodes and do Abby’s part and act 3 all in one season.

 

i wonder if they’re really going to sit on the final joel and ellie scene for two+ seasons lol

 

dream scenario season 2 ends and they announce Part III releases later this summer with season 3 next year and season 4 covers the final game in 2027-28

Yeah I'm still #TeamTheater as I feel the game structure translates just fine to TV, audiences can wait for resolution! Especially since they're kiiiiiinds making Abby relatable and not a straight up villain, more of an antihero (not my words) she can easily carry an entire season. There's enough content. As said earlier, they COULD make next season longer than 7 episodes and we can conclude the rest of the game or we can end next season at the theater and have a 4th. Either way, game structure in TV for at will be just fine. The people will be ok.

 

They did a great job with the death scene (feels so weird to say.) I was fine with the chances. Bella mannnn

 

He’s said this before and gone back on it before so I wouldn’t read into that at all. They’re focused on their new IP first so obviously he isn’t going to start pushing TLOU3 in the buildup for a new IP.

Maybe its the hopium talking but I'm sure that's just a diversion from him. In that documentary a couple years ago he stated he "might" have another story to tell. With how successful the show is, I'm sure Sony will throw some huge $'s to nudge them toward a Part 3. (I'm sure I'm just repeating what someone else has said here before)

Its dark and gloomy today and I'm off work. I think I'm about to fire up Part 2 on PS5 again.... I haven't played the PS5 boosted version yet.

Last note. I have no idea how I wasn't spoiled on Joel from the game originally. I started the game day 1 and played for an hour or 2, but stopped before the lodge. It was alike a month before I picked it back up. Someone else here said it, but I knew people were upset and mad at the game for some reason. I'm thankful I got to have a real reaction to it as I am a spoiler sensitive boi and get overtly upset when things get ruined for me.

Yeah I'm still in the camp it's happening but since Intergalatic is coming first, Neil is just trying to downplay the TLOU3 hype.

It part 3 actually happens it’s not coming out until like 2030 or later and on ps6
