The entire story for a game that doesn’t even have a release date has leaked? I’d take whatever those leaks are saying with a huge grain of salt.

I am but I also did with TLOU2 and a lot of what leaked there was true (though I avoided 90% of it). I'd prefer to just not engage anyway. I spend too much arguing with people who are in bad faith, so real or fake, I am going to avoid spaces where this would spread.

Season finale being the theater scene is gonna have people like nooooo.

Then next season Abby POV gonna have people even more confused lol.

 

ViewerAnon leaked where some of the big game moments line up in the episodes. They were pretty accurate with season 1. Seems like there might be a bit missing, but it lays out about how most people expected. I will say if these leaks play out, I feel like Ellie’s Seattle portion may feel a little rushed in comparison to the game.

 

I think those were just a guess imo

I also think some events will still be shuffled. Maybe not to the extent I originally thought but still not one to one with the game.

 

I really don’t understand the point of leakers, outside of just wanting to feel special that they got the inside scoop.

They’re saying 2. In my opinion they’re losing out on a bigger water cooler moment and it doesn’t really set up the whole season as well if they don’t do it in episode 1.

 

Agreed. It's the season premiere, NO ONE would expect it and it would definitely be a water cooler moment with everyone being like omg what did we just watch. They could have easily fit the entire opening in just the first episode and end it on Ellie's face and screams, and open Ep2 with her coming to. I'd assume they end Ep2 with it then and that just feels like they're dragging the opening now.

 

To be fair, Abby was pretty toned in LOU2. I’m fine with it not being that way in the show if it meant finding a good actress.

 

Yeah, I don’t have a problem with it. Would’ve been cool to see but it’s not the end of the world.

S2 - Jackson/Ellie
S3 - Abby/Farm
S4 - Santa Barbara

 

Or have the Farm be the first episode of S4

 

Yep this is most likely. Especially knowing HBO likes shortening seasons, I could see a short S4 just because Santa Barbara isn't terribly long.

 

Also gives 6ish years for Part III to release.

 

Now that I have finally played the games I can pop in here. Excited for season 2 now that I know what’s coming.

 

I replay these games annually to get me through the slog of winter. Probably gonna start this week. They still pack such an emotional punch.. even after all these play throughs.
