The worst two scenes of this show for me have been Ellie stitching up Joel and Ellie putting the syringe in him. Please no more needles though having played the game I feel there could be one more next week

Is there any chance the show pulls a switch and kills off Tommy instead of Joel in season two

 

Like as in where should she have injected him? Probably would have been better to do it in his arm since he was pretty much unconscious but normally those shots are given in the hip.

 

Yeah I've never gotten a shot of antibiotics like that, it's either been a pill, a liquid, or in an IV...so I guess in his vein would have been the best spot? haha

 

My immediate memory was that people get penicillin shots in the butt so I googled it while watching. Recommendation is any large area of muscle (hip, butt, leg). Results I saw said no to arms.

 

I would only think arm in that situation to get it to his heart to be circulated quicker since he is unconscious. Obv if he was awake the hip would be better. I don't think theyre supposed to be intravenous.
