Might be completely wrong on this but weren’t the faction/gang in Part 2 during the Santa Barbara section called the Scorpions? Ellie said on ep 5 she was scared of scorpions to Sam. Just thought that was interesting. Might not be their name I can’t recall.
I saw someone interpret the final message in the pad as Sam apologizing. Kind of neat to think of it that way as well.
I cant believe both that we're gonna be in Wyoming already next episode and that people are saying they're worried there's enough time to do finish up. I would have never guessed we'd get from just outside of Boston at the end of Episode 3, to Wyoming sometime early in episode 6. I don't think I expected so much of the story, 4 episodes worth, to happen in Wyomnig.
My big concern is doing the entirety of David’s section in a single episode. Ellie has to be out hunting, David finds her and is friendly and then captures her. All the stuff in the town. The blizzard. The fire. Killing him. That’s a lot of shit to do in one of the shorter episodes of the season. also salt lake in 40 minutes…I dunno. If they cut the Giraffes I’ll throw a brick
My assumption of how the events of the game you're referring to will play out are either that they intercut present day in the Left Behind episode, all the way up to Ellie getting captured. Or they cut the hunting and meeting scene and just jump right in to the cannibals finding their hideout and Ellie luring them away, then cutting/changing a lot of the blizzard portion.
Here's where I, the guy who has literally committed to writing up game summaries for non-game players in this thread, admit that I never played the Left Behind DLC. Is it long/substantial enough to be its own episode?
The DLC itself goes back and forth in time with Ellie going out and finding medicine for an incapacitated Joel and her adventures in the mall that was mentioned earlier in the series. And even with that, you can still complete it in a couple hours (including all of the gameplay sequences that have been cut down in the show).
I had no idea that it tied in with the main game storyline like that, I assumed it was fully just a prequel to the main game. I need to play that shit immediately it sounds like
Yeah. Just sayin an alternate ending where it was the other way around would’ve been a cool choice as well.
Oooh, just found out that they have a recap podcast with Neil and Troy Baker. Giving that a listen right now.
Question about the game. Is there a stage where you have to shoot the infected while narrowly missing Ellie so she can escape? Because that was awesome. I was just wondering if anyone accidentally shoots Ellie then has to restart the game.
