Was just looking back through this thread. I guess They could do the Spring section at the beginning of a season two and and then head into Part 2 with an introduction of Abby after the hospital. Because the show definitely wouldn’t be able to tell the story of Part 2 in the same format as the game.

But I kind of think doing them as two separate seasons would be better.

Absolutely. I played both for the first time in the last couple of months and they are easily some of the best games I’ve ever played. Would honestly go back and play through both again soon.

 

LOL‘d hard at the scene where Ellie is pretending to be infected. I think the scenes with the monsters looked a little awkward but other than that I’ll watch this. Harrrrd.

I need to get the remake of 1 for ps5 now that I think I saw it’s on sale. Will be the third time I’ve bought it lol.

 

Yeah the first one is incredible but I love the second one so much more

The Part 1 remake is supposed to be released on PC soon as well but they haven’t announced a date yet. Maybe at The Game Awards this week? Pedro and Bella are presenting and so are Ashley Johnson and Troy Baker so I wouldn’t be surprised if there is an announcement.

 

I can't wait to let my 3070 flex on that one.

I am usually a "no trailers for stuff that I'm sold on kinda guy", but I was too curious plus it's not like I don't know the story, largely.

 

Not paying enough at the sheriff's office these days? Must be all the defunding.

 

I'm super excited, but it's yet another reminder, that I need to avoid certain corners of the internet. The trolls are out in full force nitpicking every single little thing and whining about some casting changes (and shock - the skin color of some characters), but I think it looks fantastic and I cannot wait. I said the first trailer didn't give anything away, and now I almost feel like this gives away too much, but I know I'm filling gaps that others won't be able to fill in without the game knowledge. The production and tone looks every bit on par with quality of the game. I was this excited for the wheel of time (maybe I am a bit more excited here as I've been on board since the beginning vs a late comer with WOT), and while I wasn't entirely disappointed or dismissive of WOT, but it was flawed. I want this to be perfect and added to the upper echelon of HBO shows.

I really hope that it's a complete arc that wraps the game up, and that we start and end in the same place. I literally want the exact same ending with the same question that Ellie asks Joel and the cut to black after 'okay'. Gives me chills every single time and one of my favorite endings of any piece of media..

I bought myself a bottle of the below as a Christmas present to myself and it's going to sit on my shelf until 9pm on Jan 15th in which I'll have a glass to celebrate the wait being over.

Also, not at all confirmed in anyway, but there are leaks that TLOU3 is in development. Could mean any number of things and until naughty dog confirms, I don't have hopes up for anything any time soon, but my hopes are definitely up that we'll get something. I was really torn on if we'd go back to this world at all. I believe the rumor it's in development, but no idea what that means as far as progress goes.
