Ooo yeah I do like that. I haven't had a coat like that since I was maybe 18/19 years old, but always did like that style ab it.
Its a FEDRA schools so who knows what the military government decides to teach kids. Loved the clicker being in shadow/out of focus until BAM full face reveal.
Good job for Druckmann's live action directorial debut. Then again, this would be the best episode for him to do first since it's so much like early sequences in the game
Major props to the physicality of the actors playing the clickers. When we saw the runners outside, something about the way they were moving really perturbed me
We can assume the FEDRA schools teach misinformation and likely withhold info given that Ellie mentioned she was told the city would be completely overrun with zombies running around everywhere.
Afraid to click on any spoilers in here because I don't know if you're talking about the episodes we have already watched (that I am caught up on and would normally read the spoiler), or spoiling the (future) storyline of the video game.
In the House of the Dragon thread, people post "Book Spoilers" ahead of their spoilers, so maybe we can do that here with "Game Spoilers" for people who haven't played
yes, I think everyone's been mostly good in here but please specify if a spoiler is for something that hasn't happened in the show yet
Yeah for real. Not sure if you saw the BTS but Craig said the actors were fans of the game so they really tried to get the movements right.
Gotta feeling the finale is going to be the most talked about tv episode of the entire year if it keeps growing and growing turning into a blockbuster show
I was very annoyed about Stranger Things 4's episode lengths (fuck off with that 2.5 hour long finale lol learn how to write tv duffer brothers) and yet i am cool with 80 min long episodes here. Funny how that works
I was spoiled on a major thing from the second game in this thread with no spoiler tags. Tread lightly. IMDB has it at 82 minutes I think
This episode was fantastic. Feel like it didn't progress much storywise once we got to Boston, as in the whole episode takes place over maybe an hour or two after that cold open, but so many necessary story points: Tess' death obviously, Joel and Ellie going on as a pair, and learning about how the infected are connected, etc. What a cold open though. Would love to see more of that, and in future eps how the fungus/infected gets politicized, how the bombings happen, how the government tries to control the public, etc.
Stranger Things has also played it’s own story to death so nobody wants a 2 hour episode just get on with it
