Really interested to see how viewership holds up going forward. I don't expect it to jump as exponentially as Euphoria, but I'm hoping it stays strong enough to warrant a renewal.
the urge to always create content online is already insane enough with how huge tiktok has gotten, but my god, in just 2 days the amount of different "heres things you missed" or "heres the major changes from game to show" or "here are my biggest issues with the premier" or "heres easter egg's you probably didnt catch" vidoes that are just clogging up every one of my feeds is staggering. folks cannot just watch something and not immediately make a video.
The worst thing is "X ending explained". It started with a couple of movies/shows with abstract endings, but now it will be the easiest, most basic conclusion and someone still has to explain it.
Had to make a quick run home during lunch today and the emergency broadcast system sound started going off in the radio. It was just a test but it was eerie AF because I never heard it on the radio before, only on TV. Had flashbacks to last night haha
I am very curious how the second game's story decisions will play for general tv audiences that have never played the game nor ever paid attention to nerd screaming on the internet
Lol I'm glad I'm not the only one. At first I was like damn, they got Marlene down pretty good in this show.
I think I decided I am bailing on this show. I am very excited to replay Part 1 when it comes to PC on march 3rd, and this is just such a straight retelling that by then I'd be Last of Us'd out.
Assuming this is gonna be stretched over multiple seasons to tell the story of both games, do we know if season 1 is game 1? How much of the game is covered in these first 9 eps?
First season is the entire first game. They said that if they get the chance to do Part II, they'll do that one over multiple seasons.
I think once Season 1 ends I'll finally play Part 2. I've owned it for a few years and haven't gotten around to it.
