Oh hey, the actor for Eugene was in The Matrix! ...I don't think I ever knew his name before looking it up today tbh
I am reminded from this thread that not everyone has watched The Sopranos (which is fine) To me that's fucking Ralphie Cifaretto lol
wait so they were in Jackson for five years already? I thought it had been like 2 max since s1 haha really incredible episode though, one of the best in the whole show so far. they did a good job making you hate Joel with that Of Mice and Men bullshit and then your heart breaks for him again at the end. also did not recognise Joey Pants until I saw his name in the credits lol, looks completely different
I share the sentiments but it's just bullying disguised as subjective criticism so you'll still see it everywhere. Really enjoyed this episode and I thought it fit perfectly where they placed it. Some of the early reviews I read had issues that this episode was a momentum stopper (in a bad way), and I couldn't disagree more. Really excited for the last one and if they nail that, 5 / 6 / 7 will have been a great trilogy of episodes that provided action and necessary story beats and breathing room in between. This does require a rework of some things later based on the source material, as this being Joel and Ellie's last conversation, was a much later reveal.
Best episode of the season imo. I’m not aboard all the hate this season has gotten although there have been some questionable changes to the source material. Goddamn that porch scene killed me.
I mean a lot of guitar parts are made from elephant bones haha. I'm guessing there weren't a lot of elephants around.
