I think the official ratio of last of us to walking dead episodes in regards to plot progress is like 3 episodes to one full season. It’s nice to feel like things are actually happening. My walking dead senses felt like the trek to Seattle would take several episodes.

 

It’d be like 3 seasons and they’d still have like miles left to Seattle if this was TWD

 

Definitely more of a transitional episode but they did a great job genuinely justifying why it probably wasn't a good idea to send a whole militia from the town and for Ellie and Dina to go alone. The change regarding Tommy seems pretty major and I'm curious to see where that decision goes

I can already tell the production design for Seattle is going to match the game super closely, I loved that

 

Great episode.

Dina and Ellie on Shimmer doing alphabet bands reminded me of the game so much. Just those dialogue moments with no action, just riding horseback, characters talking. So good. What a story. What a game/show.
