The grave scene was an interesting way to introduce abby. Not sure how i feel about it yet. Everything else was great.

 

The dance was damn near a shot for shot remake - beautiful! I was curious to see how they’d introduce Abby, and as much as I love the game, I understand some concessions were likely to be made…just cannot wait for next week already!

Bella Ramsey is going to play teenagers their whole career I am afraid - I kind of wondered if they’d tried to age them up this season, but doesn’t look like it! I think they must have settled on adding a line of dialogue to mention specifically that Ellie is 19 to really drive the point home.

 

I felt like Bella’s slight change in performance was enough to convince me that Ellie is a bit older. Just the way they carry themself was enough for me.

 

They’re 19 and insisting they don’t need to be treated like a kid. So stop being mean to Pedro Pascal and ignoring literally EVERY order given to you lol

 

“Oh Ellie, I think they should be terrified of you” fucking shoot me in the heart lol. Isabela Merced was a great replacement since it couldn’t have been Shannon Woodward.
