I wonder if there will be a 4 year time jump between the first and second season like there is between the first and second games, because ellie doesn't look a day older than she did at the end of season 1. Maybe they'll just have it be a few months after Season 1.

 

I don't think that's really a problem. If anything, it's the opposite problem with the Stranger Things kids

 

Didn't they say they were expanding it so conceivably this won't even reach game 2 yet?

 

They stated that Part 2 will be split between season 2 and season 3. And given the length of the second game, I doubt they will be adding any original story set between the two games.

 

I think Bella did a pretty great job as young Ellie but I worry about the believability of her being brutal killing rampage 19 year old Ellie.

 

I just hope the rat king looks sick as fuck.

We have no reason to think this. First season had 3 awesome cold opens that weren’t in the games and original. There was a whole episode of an event that was not in the game and heavily altered. Let them cook

Instead of season 4 of Last of Us give us seasons 1 through 27 of Death Stranding.

 

Yeah the only way there is a season 4 is if TLOU is out by then lol. I don't even see how season 3 could be significantly larger.

 

This just makes the layout of the seasons even more confusing to me.

 

don't love the thought of veering away from the source material...but also if drukmann is involved with the writing then maybe i trust it?

feels like it would hamstring the eventual 3rd game to put a new (the final?) part of the story out via the show first but what do i know
