This is extremely good so far.

 

Had no idea what to expect. Immensely into this.

 

All these sets really do look straight out of the game lol

 

This is a nice balance. Parts that were different I didn't mind, the parts that were almost shot for shot the same as the game opening though gave me goosebumps

 

A little slow, but that's to be expected in the first episode of a show

 

I loved it. Not mad at any of the changes made so far haha. Tired af but I'll probably post more thoughts tomorrow

What a premiere, not me crying at the Sarah scene

 

I know there was a brief conversation about weekly drops v all at once and I originally thought I was a weekly person but fuck I want the rest now lol

 

That was absolutely fucking phenomenal. The game is one of my favorite games of all time so any adaptation of this would have made me extremely wary but at least this first episode absolutely nailed it. I didn't even really notice any changes, just expansions which is awesome. Casting and visuals are spot-on and I even noticed some dialogue lifted right from the game

I cannot fucking wait to see how they tackle the rest of the game

The stuff straight from the game gave me chills. The shot from inside the truck driving through town and the last shot of the leaning buildings in particular

 

Agreed! Really loving these new tidbits sprinkled throughout…makes it so fresh for those who’ve played the game.

Also, I’m allllll in on this cast. Gabriel Luna sounds exactly like Tommy’s voice actor from the game, it’s bizarre.

 

This really messed with me.

Also, took me until the inside the episode thing to realize Marlene’s voice actor was playing Marlene lol

 

I’m almost tempted to just download the game again

 

Jumping out as I can't watch this for another 5 hours. I've played the game that many times and know it inside out, but still wanna avoid spoilers.

Smiled so hard at the “Drugs. I sell hardcore drugs” line, brought me right back to playing the game. Great adaptation so far.

 

It for reals made me want to play the game again incredible
