I expected 2025 so not that surprising, but I hope earlier rather than later. With HOD coming and a white lotus s3, there's plenty that HBO can rely on until then. I loved s1, but I think with fan and critics feedback, and now this extended time, S2 can be amazing.

 

They announced White Lotus and Euphoria also won't air until 2025. House of the Dragon is their only real big hitter airing next year.

 

Dang, didn't see the news about White Lotus, Never watched euphoria. I'm surprised though as I assumed White Lotus with it being such a small scale show, and mostly in just a few locations, would film quickly. Either way, I've learned these days that good TV is normally always worth the wait.

 

I'm honestly surprised Euphoria season 3 is even happening. No idea how they're gonna continue it with Angus gone and Barbie refusing to do another season. I also thought I heard that Zendaya doesn't want to do it anymore either, and after how bad The Idol was, I hope Sam Levinson stops getting directing gigs. Hearing how badly he screwed with the original concept of the series makes me yearn for what could've been over what we got in the show. Season 3 will be the end of it.

 

From what I’ve heard, there will be a time jump, so I’m sure they’ll explain things away with that.

 

Oh wow. This was not at all who I’d be expecting, I’d imagine she could kill it though, she’s a great actor

This article is spoiler free, but as a reminder if you’ve never played the game don’t look up anything about Abby. This is going to be the biggest casting of the second season and it’s going to get press as soon as it’s announced, the character is a major part of the plot. Tbh I just wouldn’t look up anything about any character that is cast lol

She’s gonna need to bulk up but I can see it and obviously she’s a great actress

honestly i wanted her to be ellie a few years back. idk if she fits what i have in mind for abby but she's such a good actress so hell yeah

 

I figured they would be going for someone who looks close in age to Bella so it makes sense.

I think it’ll really just depend how they decide to do the story for the show. I could very easily see them make the first season for the second game build up to the time jump before it happens (this is a very vague spoiler), so she could have time to build muscle. I still am not convinced they’ll tell the story in the same way as the game.

 

My thoughts are pretty much aligned with everyone's above.. she's super talented, but I'm hoping she eats her Wheaties to get into Abby mode.

 

She's great. Would have been a natural choice for Ellie if the show had been made a little earlier.
