Omg these both killed me. "Agreewoment. Ya that's my current jam, and I look forward to spreading it all on your bread." "Vagina-doodle-doo!"
So there’s over a month break before the winter finale and then there’ll be another two month break? The scheduling for this show never ceases to amaze
Both of the main Tandy/Todd scenes this episode were amazing Also, I was beginning to wonder who was gonna guest star for a few episodes so they had someone to kill off with rubix cube. Guess we have an answer now haha
The show is at its best when it does episodes like this. There's been one a season iirc (don't remember if there was in the first season unless you count the pilot) and they're all phenomenal
I love that this show does the shortest possible A-list cameos. It's so charming for how morbid it is.
Not sure how i feel about the idea of Fred Armisen playing a murderous cannibal. Something just doesn't sit right with me
Tandy sure seems oddly suspicious of Karl, obviously the dude has a lot to hide but Tandy is normally not that intuitive. Quality > quantity I guess but I feel like this episode and the last should've started next season rather than ending this one, feels like it ended in a weird place
Armisen is the best addition to this series by far. Just when the show was starting to get a little dull, they added him in and he brought a new energy to it. Loved this episode and loving the arch as a whole.
I feel like this episode jumped the shark for me. The reality of the show is completely gone now that we've watched somebody suck on a band-aid and eat corpse fingers. 2 seasons ago we had a man die because they couldn't take his appendix out and a bunch of incredibly touching episodes when Mike gets the virus. Now we just have Fred eating people. There were some funny jokes in this episode, but I really haven't like much since they got to Mexico.
"Winter breaks" is happening more now with network shows I think. May be due to limiting episodes in seasons for budget purposes as well as opening up a window for a new show in the same timeslot. Used to be sitcoms and dramas would have 23-26 episodes a season but with cable and streaming shows usually running 13 episodes, there is no set number any more.
These last two episodes are great. I was pretty ready to stop watching, but this random batshit serial killer reminds me of this show doing weird, kind of gutsy stuff. I agree that it’s weird for Tandy to be the one who is suspicious, but whatever. This show just needed SOMETHING other than awkward relationship drama/babies. And I say this as someone who is not a fan of Armisen
