    This was wonderful. At first I found the storytelling a little frustrating (“slippery,” as used above is a good word) but I ended up really coming around.

    This was phenomenal.

    the score, and cinematography are so cool. All the shots of jimmy skateboarding around the city, and the shots of parts of the bay I recognize.

    The scene with the one friend breaking down after his friend died got me.
