Remember, the trailers for Golden Circle were pretty incredible as well, especially the first one. I'm still set at "we'll see"

 

I think I liked Golden Circle more than most, but fair point still. I'm cautiously optimistic about this. Just going off the trailer, there doesn't seem to be as much humor in this, if any?

 

I liked the sequel as well, I'm just saying sometimes trailers' point is to make the movie look better than it actually is

Both of these were highly entertaining, will see this for sure.

 

Really cool interview with Vaughn. This movie sounds really cool. I especially like the bit about how he intentionally set it so far in the past that he could do whatever he wanted with these characters and not have to worry about messing something up for later or running into the problem of there being no stakes because we know X character is alive in the later movies.

 

Not sure where else to put this, but here is a piece on the 15th anniversary of Vaughn's underrated first movie Layer Cake. Decent argument on how it's possibly his best movie (I still say it's The Secret Service)

 

I’d honestly argue his best film is First Class *shrugs*

 

Reasonable opinion, that's his next one for me

Looks like a lot of fun.

 

I was still on the fence about this prequel, but after this new trailer I'm all in. This is a must see for sure.
