I really want to believe this'll be good and it's not just the director getting in over his head. Then again, Vaughn is a pretty versatile genre director known for subverting expectations (most people talk about how they didn't see The Secret Service coming at the time), and the choices in casting save for ATJ seem like people who are right for the role, as opposed to dropping big names like Channing Tatum and Julianne Moore everywhere. I know most people were disappointed in or even disliked The Golden Circle, so it's hard to say at this point whether it's the right call to dive right into a prequel, or even if it's necessary at all. Guess we'll find out

Vaughn has earned my trust completely, I'm sold until he proves me otherwise.

I would've been genuinely surprised had they kept their early November date

I'm here with you and excited for it! I'm glad it's still moving forward now that Disney owns it.

Apparently this won't actually be called The Great Game, I'll revise the thread when I hear something new

Oh, and the first Kingsman is awesome other than some problematic aspects (one big one at the end.) Second one is good but a massive step down. Still moderately better than Kick-Ass (a minority opinion, criminally)

Seriously it's crazy how Kingsman is basically turning into MV's Avatar. Like, it's completely consuming his work. Also, that title's gonna confuse the hell out of people

Rasputin being the villain is too great.

Looks really good. Could be the rare prequel that doesn’t feel totally pointless and unnecessary.
