i'd apologize to anyone who doesn't get the reference, but i'll never feel sorry that anyone HASN'T caught the himym finale
this is certainly an imperfect film. feels like it’s trying to serve three different masters. there’s WWI drama, there’s the feel of a period piece, and there’s great fight scenes that kingsman helped make its name on. all these things hurt the pacing and threaten to turn everything into a disjointed clusterfuck and yet it was never wholly unentertaining, give or take. second half is where the momentum escalates, particularly when get more of rasputin. i enjoyed the bulk of the cast also, everyone seemed to make good work out of what was on the page other than harris dickinson who is merely okay as conrad. action scenes don’t disappoint either. it’s just a shame we’re never getting more brad allan choreography again really sucks that this is guaranteed to bomb against NWH, matrix and even sing 2 (which features taron egerton, no less!), as well as getting torn limb from limb in the reviews, but i’m not surprised. still a marked improvement over the unjustly-denigrated golden circle. it’s worth getting a ticket for should spidey and neo be sold out at the time (haven’t seen those yet, mind you). it’d also be nice if any box office struggles doesn’t curb kingsman 3 at all
I have decent hope that pandemic delays and their ensuing financial setbacks will be treated with more than a grain of salt in making decisions for the next couple of production years. Will definitely catch this next week… but probably after Matrix 4.
stay for a (hysterical in all the wrong ways) mid-credits scene btw. not like we're getting THE KING'S MAN: PART DEUX or anything
Pretty underwhelmed by this. Some alright action. The villain and his “reveal” was lame and didn’t carry any weight for me.
We’ve been insanely busy and sold out for most movies today, but this has only had like 15 people in each showing.
This was nowhere near as bad as the reviews make it out to be. It was enjoyable enough. I liked it just as much as the Golden Circle I think.
First half of this movie was pretty boring honestly and did not feel like either of the previous Kingsman movies. Not that that’s a bad thing. Overall it’s mostly forgettable for me. But, that nighttime trench scene RULED.
I’ll watch it on the 18th then! Now if only spider man gets a streaming date. Not willing to risk theaters yet
Carly Rae would know better than I would. Thought I remember reading it would be available on Starz or something on the same day as digital release.
sounds like MV confirmed the title for K3. it's "kingsman: the blue blood." granted that title was rumored for a year to a year and a half now, but i guess that's now official
