Ha, I don't even remember what that song sounds like. Sometimes I listen to "Carry You Home" after "Battle Born" ends, but I never go to "Prize Fighter."
Yeah, it's what, the last song on the Deluxe edition I think? It's a curveball for sure, which is why (I imagine) they left it off. They made the right call in my opinion, so it's more my fault to continue to listen to the deluxe edition.
Yeah, it comes after a remix of "Flesh and Bone" which I don't think I have ever actually listened to.
Man I wish The Killers would do at least a small run of shows for the Sam's Town Anniversary. I hope that Las Vegas show is recorded somehow.
I wonder if they'll play the song "Sam's Town" (the song) as it was originally recorded or the acoustic rendition they started doing live awhile back.
I love Prize Fighter, and Sam's Town (acoustic version) is probably my favorite Killers song. You can find that version on the Sawdust album.
The Killers Map Out Vinyl Reissue, Special Vegas Event to Commemorate 10th Anniversary of ‘Sam’s Town’ | Demo that's being released as a bonus track on the 10th Year Anniversary Repress ("Peace Of Mind")will also be released as a digital single.
Strikes me as somewhat amusing seeing them do an anniversary thing for Sam's Town. I remember the backlash that album first received when it came out. I love it, and still do. Didn't care for the album after that and Battle Born has gotten lost in the shuffle, but I hope they plan to release something in 2017.
I thought Brandon had mentioned that they were going to be recording this year or something. I might be entirely wrong and making that up, though.
Back in the studio on Friday to record the new album. The Killers start recording their new album on Friday!
Why did I think they were closer to being done with the album than that? Probably still a year away from release, in that case.
That's good news, thanks! The song All These Things that I've Done is, in my opinion, their best song EVER! I really like it when the choir comes in. I always thought the song was a message against the church and religion, but I'm not exactly sure. I just love it anyway!
