IMO boy would be mid-tier on Day & Age, by which I mean I think it’s awesome :D

The lyrics feel pretty straightforward to me? Maybe the arrows stuff takes a bit of a leap but that’s about it, otherwise a clear message

They soundchecked Badlands yesterday, night two at MSG tonight…

 

forgot I bought tix a year ago for a show in a town I no longer live in. frustrated to not be seeing them in a few days.

 

Bruce came out for the encore tonight, they did Born to Run, Dustland, and Badlands together.

 

I’m so glad some friends offered me a ticket last minute tonight. The show was amazing and the Bruce encore was nuts!

 

imagine you're going to a concert and bruce springteen just comes out

happened to me when I saw Bleachers this summer

 

I went night 1 which was still great but would have loved to see the Bruce combo. Also they played “Runaway Horses” on night 2 which is the best song off Pressure Machine.

Since June he’s come out to Coldplay at MetLife, McCartney at MetLife, and The Killers at MSG. Not sure if I’m missing any other surprise appearances this year.

 

So glad I can cross Springsteen off my list, one of the coolest surprises I've seen.

(but also low key bummed that they cut Jenny and Smile Like You Mean It for it lol)
