Human is such a fantastic goodbye anthem. The chorus might sound off grammar wise if you don’t understand the reference but it’s one of my favorites from them. I love Day & Age as a whole except for the final track which I ignore.
I have issues with Day & Age as a whole, even though it's a fun album, but I've never had a problem with Human. That's a tight song. I remember the day it came out and being horrified, haha, but it didn't take long until I was playing it on repeat.
The one great Killers song nobody ever seems to talk about is Losing Touch. That song is a straight fire jam.
Day & Age might be their most fun album. I think it is underappreciated in general. I will admit that it is more a collection of great tracks than it is a cohesive album, but that isn't the worst thing in the world, and not every album can or even should be Sam's Town, you know?
I liked the chorus on this one but I’m not an immediate fan of everything else. I hope it clicks later down the road. Absolutely LOVED Caution!
Dustland Fairytale is my favorite song period. I didn't even listen to it til 5 years after the album came out cause I didn't bother after Human tbh
I remember being underwhelmed my "Human" because it sounded like a retread of "Read My Mind." I like it fine, but it's still my least favorite of their lead singles by...a lot.
They're live on Instagram right now, they're playing Dying Breed. Should clarify: playback of the song, not a live rendition.
