    It's nice and i love that they're doing things (tour????), but the OG version is so ingrained in my brain that hearing an alt version is just weird.

    I was really, really excited when I heard they were getting back together. Deadbeat Sweetheartbeat is still one of my all time favorite records. But their new stuff honestly just sounds like they’re trying to catch some genre wave. It doesn’t strike me as genuine in the least.
