Berseria is my favorite Tales game so far. Arise looks interesting.

 

Really liking Vesperia. Controls are a little outdated, might just be that I'm used to button spamming but still going strong. Hype for Arise is still real.

 

Yuri Lowell is one of my favorite protagonists in a JRPG

It's so fucking cool

 

I never played Berseria. Not sure why… which Tales game is it most comparable to?

 

I'm getting a long quite nicely but the nice weather has me outside more. Hoping to get a lot of it in before Arise.

 

Excited for Tales of Arise tomorrow!!!

Only 10 minutes into Arise and I can already tell that I am going to love this game.

 

Played 5 hours so far and I can't fault this at all.

Just took care of some adult shit so I can just focus on Tales today

 

Just got through the prologue, god damn Arise is fun.

 

Played a bit of Arise today and wow, just overwhelmed by it all.

 

I played an embarrassing amount yesterday and lemme tell ya, this fuckin game is on pace for my GOTY so far, lets see how the story continues to develop

 

Hoping to get a good chunk in shortly but yeah, definitely a GOTY contender.

 

I got the hang of combat about 5 hours in and fuck, the game gets so fun after that. I never felt like I had a hold of Tales combat before, but for this one it clicked. Im no pro but I definitely feel confident fighting bosses and stuff.

 

I am about 4 hours in and loving it as well.

Such a well polished game. Really loving the story so far and the combat.

 

So I'm about 20 hours in. Just got to Kisara. The characters are a great part of this and really not what I expected. Think it was the Video Game thread I said this but I wish the areas were fleshed out more. They're gorgeous but so limited.

Other than that, getting some major FFX vibes and thats been my favourite JRPG for years. Seems short though, im hoping that I've still got a bit left.

 

last week on the GameInformer podcast they said just pushing through the main story with minimal side content completed would take around 70 hours

 

Arise story just keeps getting better, just finished the fourth realm

 

I've just finished the 5th realm and I'm not sure if the game is "finished". I'll go back to it tomorrow but it's been a great time so far. I'm currently at about 30 hours.

 

I'm in the third realm and I think Arise is "okay." Berseria seems better in most aspects, but this is better than a lot of Tales games.
