*see last post. But in all seriousness yes haha. Though I can’t say I’m all that fussed about anybody else on there. I’m excited about the upcoming The 1975 album given that they’ve cited the first EPs as influence and its nearest comparison, Pale Waves’ debut was a hot dish of mediocrity, and Wolf Alice haven’t released anything in yonks...that I’m aware of. I’m still bloody listening to this album daily.
Late, but I mean, this is my AOTY of course If you like The Japanese House but hate consistency and tolerable lyrics, give The 1975 a go
Can’t wait. Went into Good at Falling totally blind after Riley Breckenridge posted about it and I was sold by the third track.
I think it’s already been going on cus I saw her last week, so there are set lists on setlist.fm. This is the one from my show. She was so great! Glad I got to catch the show. The Japanese House Setlist at Bottom Lounge, Chicago
I believe it started a week and a half ago, I saw her may 1st and it was a great show. Setlist is on setlist.fm, looks like she even added a couple songs since my date.
Oh wow ok! Looked on her website and only saw from today on but I guess they aren't displaying older dates. How was the show?
Fantastic, really couldn't have asked for anything more. She sounded great and the whole band played really well together.
Yea it was great, they just have a very great vibe to them, and like the post above said, they have really good chemistry. I came kind of close to not going because I honestly forgot about it until the day of, but I'm really glad I still went.
Show tonight was awesome. Amber and the other three musicians had such an energy. Love when you can visibly tell that the artist is having a ton of fun and loving what they do beyond just simply entertaining. Crowd was super good too, she forgot the words during one of the songs and the audience didn’t miss a beat. “You Seemed so Happy” went off wayyyy harder than I expected it to. Just an all around great time, a significant improvement from the last time I saw her in 2016
