Love reading this interview with her, though I take partciular offense to this line:

For the uninitiated, The Planet is an iconic fictional venue from tragically bad, endlessly influential TV show The L Word.

Then goes on to talk about slandering Lip Service lolll.

I'm honestly so ready for this album to break me.

I mean, The L Word isn’t necessarily a great show tbh. The writing got pretty bad at times and they really treated their only trans character like shit and treated trans issues in general as a total joke.

Oh yeah, absolutely. It has a lot of flaws and I hope with a reboot they have a chance to address them. I wasn't being too serious with what I said.

Gotcha, I mean I still watched the show and enjoyed a lot of things about it. I really hope they do better with the reboot.

Tbh both The L Word and Lip Service were shows I sought out in my coming out process but it's pretty unfortunate for me that I really identified with Jenny in the first few seasons and then...well we know where that goes.

And the way they address trans issues was awful.

    And Dana.

    Basically we need a redo.

    EDIT: And bisexuality.

Is it slower and more introspective like Lilo or does it have more grooves and flow to them like Follow My Girl? Or a decent mix?

Still waiting for this on Spotify. I’m so ready. Crazy that it’s been four years and we’re finally getting an album.

Wow, this is incredible -- like bring you to tears something special incredible. Only complaint is that I'm not sure I like the intro as an intro -- might've preferred it somewhere else in the sequencing. And I cannot get into "You Seemed So Happy" at all, unfortunately; may have to move it because I feel like it brings the album to a halt.
