This was good. Acting was all around great and felt like everyone got their chance to shine. I've heard praise for practically everyone but Lily James so ima mention her cause she was great.
Liked but didn’t love this, the acting was really great but I feel like the script didn’t give them much to do besides wait around for all the tragedy to happen. also what was the staircase ghost?
After the first tragedy the mother is watching the big show (Parade of Champions I believe) in the living room and faintly behind her on the stairs you can see David. She turns back for just a second and it’s gone.
It can’t be overstated how bad that Ric Flair portrayal is. I have no idea how that was allowed to happen.
And this is absolutely correct. I need George Lucas to come in with a special edition on this one…literally anything else would have been better.
i've never watched wrestling in my life but went to see this on Christmas and then read about the family afterwards and it was a good call on combining the Chris story with Mike because holy shit what a heavy story haha
Baby Billy is the perfect way to describe it. Also, I believe Flair actually did drop the title. There was no DQ. But artistic license, etc. etc.
Was Parade of Champions Kerry vs Flair depicted as a stadium show at Texas Stadium with a huge audience? Because I can't see how they would do that budget wise. Also did they show the famous "slamming the cage door" spot with the Freebirds?
