    Apple:

“Music has always been part of our core at Apple, and bringing it to hundreds of millions of users in the way iPod did impacted more than just the music industry — it also redefined how music is discovered, listened to, and shared,” said Greg Joswiak, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing. “Today, the spirit of iPod lives on. We’ve integrated an incredible music experience across all of our products, from the iPhone to the Apple Watch to HomePod mini, and across Mac, iPad, and Apple TV. And Apple Music delivers industry-leading sound quality with support for spatial audio — there’s no better way to enjoy, discover, and experience music.”

I remember my very first iPod. 16 GB. Black and white. And I loved it.

Still have my iPod Photo from 2006, works like a charm aside from the battery being toast.

I'm just bitter Apple stopped updating the ipod instead of having the perfect device for offline listening. Streaming killed it.
Iphones etc are not substitutes, considering price points and storage capacity.
All downhill after retiring the ipod classic. The click wheel honestly was perfect. Yes I'm old

This legitimately made me look up if any portable MP3 players still exist and they do!

If you have to ask, you can't afford it

I was on the same train until I got a 512 gb micro sd card. Not having to carry a second device which I did for the last 10 or so years plus bluetooth capabilities is just invaluable. It's also the reason I'll never get an iphone and sticking with my s8 because sd card slots are dying too

  12. My entire 70k+ library sits at home on a giant drive and I can access it anywhere and it takes up no space at all on my phone. And at any time I can also access virtually any album ever made. Y’all living in the Stone Age!

I love my iPod...there's a whole iPod cult out there. There's a company that sells bluetooth kits for iPods, I haven't bought one yet but I intend to.

The Mariners never made the playoffs during the entire lifecycle of the iPod.

This sounds like exactly what I want/need. Care to share any insight on how that works or what you use?

I sold my 160gig iPod classic on eBay last year for almost $200!

    iPods, always a good time.
My friend and I always talked about “the iPod of destiny”; The iPod with Dave Mellilos album that never came out on it.

I do the same. It works great. I own every piece of music in my library.

I stream things and then buy them if I’m streaming it a bunch.

While I still have my iPod Classic my library has outgrown it and I don’t use it much. The method Jason mentioned is the way to go.
