The Internet is an American soul/trip hop/alt R&B band from Los Angeles, California, formed in 2011. Sometimes they get mentioned in the hip hop and R&B threads but they deserve their own cause they’re my favorite band and why tf not.

Also we’re getting an album probably some time next year and I’m hella fuckin hype and I need a place to put all these feelings

I, uh, am not really sure how this went under my radar until now haha. Ego Death was a top 5 for me in 2015 and I liked Syd’s record last year too. Really excited to hear this in a couple of days

Hold On is such a fantastic closer.

 

Haven’t followed anyone from this band very closely in quite some time, so maybe teases are a regular thing. But it looks like Syd posted a photo of them together back in May. Reasonable to think if anything was coming we’d have heard more by now, but hey maybe there’s something on the horizon
