Such a fucking bummer. One of my favorite discoveries of the last few years is Somos.

Daniels was a frequent collaborator with producer Rodney "Darkchild" Jerkins. The two worked on hits like Brandy and Monica's "The Boy Is Mine," Destiny's Child's "Say My Name," Jennifer Lopez's "If You Had My Love," Whitney Houston's "It's Not Right but It's Okay," Michael Jackson's "You Rock My World." and "Telephone" by Lady Gaga featuring Beyonce. Daniels has also worked with Drake, Tamar Braxton, Toni Braxton, Spice Girls and Janet Jackson, among many others.

I fucking loved Eddie Money. Saw him so many times when he opened up summer shows in Michigan.

 

Wow that’s crazy. He always opens up the outdoor concert season at DTE music theatre here in Michigan.

 

Some of my best DTE memories are being on the hill shitfaced to his songs.

Awww man. That’s a big one for me. My Dads all time favorite was Eddie Money.

Highly underrated for the amount of great tunes he had. Usually if you have 5-6 stone cold classics you’re an icon. Seems like he was slowly forgotten about or under appreciated.

 

my wife and I saw “Take Me Home Tonight” on our 1st date.

Also Kevin Gilbert was in his band, which he would later almost resemble Eddie from his look in this video.

Eddie and Kevin are now jamming up in heaven

 

He had a LOT of good songs, but "I Wanna Go Back" is the one I'll probably play the most today.
