Wish this thread was more active! Anyway, here is a picture of our progress. The wood in this house has all been refinished in the past and it's been very difficult to paint due to how slick it is. We bought this bonding primer and then have been painting 2 to 3 coats of color paint. We probably should have sanded first. At any rate, you see that the wall color is mint green and the back of the built in shelves is gray. We only primed the shelves and haven't put on the real paint yet (it will be a bright white).
My living room is so empty of decor that it echos but idk what to do with it. Even tho I basically live alone it doesn't feel like my space to decorate
I'm moving soon so I'm really sizing down. Only things I'm keeping are some wall hangings (Seinfeld posters and LSU/Devils stuff mostly) and my tacky pink chair that is everyones favorite thing. It's perfect and I love it. If I could clone it and give one to you all I would.
Right before you move is the perfect time to get rid of crap. I always have a hard time with throwing stuff away.
It's the only time I ever get rid of stuff haha. But I've moved seven times since 2014 though so at this point all I have is books haha. Which I don't get rid of, just store and retrieve later.
So this room is done being painted. Just have to remove the tape. We will be installing some grayish laminate flooring in a few weeks
Finished painting the dining room yesterday. Just have to remove the tape and replace that awful light.
I need a house to decorate all rustic and cool. First I need a long-term roommate slash income sharer, yes I need a spouse
